I am investigating on gaseous and stellar dynamics in galaxies using numerical simulations with various codes such as:
1) N-body & SPH + GRAPE (3-D)
2) high resolution 2-D Euler-mesh code with a Poisson eq. solver including the radiative cooling and the heating due to the star formation.
I am currently interested in:
1) dynamics of the multi-phase ISM and star formation
2) evolution of spiral galaxies
3) triggering mechanism of nuclear starbursts and the fueling process to AGN
4) gas dynamics in the central region of galaxies and in barred galaxies.
