Circumstellar/Interstellar Matter Journal Club

Meets Biweekly, Fridays at 1pm (alternating with Massive Stars and Starbursts) in room S322.

We discuss topics on circumstellar and interstellar matter, from both published literature and our own research. Discussed topics on circumstellar matter include star formation, evolved stars, supernovae, and molecular clouds. Regarding interstellar matter, topics include the interstellar medium and HII regions. Many of the studies we discuss focus on the Magellanic Clouds, as many of our group members work with data from the Spitzer Space Telescope Legacy program Surveying the Agents of a Galaxy's Evolution (SAGE). We also discuss circumstellar and interstellar matter studies that focus on the Milky Way and other galaxies.
