Members of the JWST science community have dedicated their time and expertise to create code that supports observation planning and data analysis and interpretation. These are complementary to the primary JWST proposal planning and data analysis toolboxes developed and maintained by STScI.

Community-developed, publicly-available documented tools have been listed on a new Tools from the Community webpage that serves as a hub for these additional resources.

Although some of these tools may end up being part of the official toolboxes, they are currently not supported by STScI. Therefore, users should directly contact the authors for questions and support.
